Tunde Lekan Olatunji, may have been picked as the running mate to the party’s governorship candidate, Bola Oyebamiji, ahead of the 2026 Osun State governorship election.
Although the APC has not made any official announcement regarding the deputy governorship slot, several party insiders familiar with ongoing consultations claim that Olatunji’s name has received the backing of influential stakeholders within the party. Olatunji, a former Chief Whip of the Osun State House of Assembly, represented Ife-North State Constituency during his tenure in the legislature.
