The National Association of Osun State Students has launched a new initiative aimed at discovering and promoting the creative abilities of students from Osun State.

The programme, titled Osun Students Got Talent (OSGT), was unveiled by the association’s national headquarters as a platform designed to give students across tertiary institutions the opportunity to showcase their talents and gain wider recognition.

According to the association, the initiative is intended to provide a vibrant stage where gifted students can express their creativity while inspiring others within the academic community.

In a statement signed by the NAOSS Social Director Com Abdulwariz Gbolahan, the association said the platform goes beyond being just a competition, describing it as a cultural and creative hub where students can confidently present their talents.

The organisers explained that many campuses in the state are home to talented individuals whose abilities often go unnoticed, adding that OSGT was created to give such students the visibility they deserve.

The event will feature a wide range of performances, including music, dance, spoken word, acting and other creative expressions, with participation open to students of Osun State origin across various institutions.

The association said the initiative is part of its broader effort to celebrate originality, amplify student voices and create memorable experiences that encourage artistic development among young people.

Students with special talents have therefore been encouraged to take advantage of the opportunity to perform, inspire audiences and showcase their creativity on a wider platform.

NAOSS further called on individuals and organisations interested in supporting the programme to partner with the association to ensure the success of the initiative.
