Pastor Cornelius Ojelabi has secured a second term as Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Lagos State. He was re-elected on Tuesday at the party’s state congress held at Mobolaji Johnson Arena, Lagos.
Reports indicate that over 2,000 delegates from across the state endorsed Ojelabi and other executive members through a consensus arrangement, reflecting party unity.

Publicity Secretary: Oluseye Oladejo
Legal Adviser: Folashade Bakare
Treasurer: Abiodun Ayigbe
Financial Secretary: Banjo Adedoyin-Wasiu
Organising Secretary: Ayodele Adewale
Youth Leader: Seriki Muritala
The Chairman of the State Congress Committee, Mrs. Stella Okotete, presented the consensus list, which delegates approved by voice affirmation. She described Lagos State as the “heartbeat of progressive politics and the proud home of President Bola Tinubu,” emphasizing the state’s role in the party’s national strength.
Okotete highlighted that the congress was conducted in line with the APC Constitution, ensuring democracy, transparency, and adherence to due process. She urged all aspirants and delegates to uphold sportsmanship and collective respect for the outcome, noting that leadership in the party is ultimately about service, unity, and progressive governance.
“This congress is not a contest of enemies but a gathering of progressive family members united by ideology,” Okotete said, stressing that the event would consolidate the party’s structure and support the renewal agenda of our President.
